Abortion – America’s Holocaust

Abortion is one of those subject matters that often stir up a lot of emotions, and for good reason. There are unborn babies that will never live to see the light of day because of the sinful decision of the mother to terminate the child’s life. In America alone since the passage of the abominable Roe v. Wade decision, there have been more than sixty (60) million babies that have been aborted. There are many reasons why mothers and fathers (and society in general) have given themselves over to such a barbaric violation of humanity, however, none of which are justified in destroying the lives of the unborn.

In this series of articles, we’ll be covering some very important subject matters, some of which include:
1. What is abortion?
2. What does Scripture teach about abortion?
3. What is it that causes a person to have such a callous disregard for human life? How is it that someone could say that “abortion is a blessing?”
4. Is there any other options available to a mother other than aborting her baby?
5. What is the solution in ending abortion in America and around the world?

What is Abortion

Abortion is the termination of an unborn baby’s life through outside of the womb influences that are contrary to nature and the design of God’s purposes in procreation. There are many means and methods by which the life of an unborn baby is ended here on this earth. But an abortion typically occurs at the hands of medical doctors who have been hired by the unborn baby’s mother or father to end the unborn baby’s life. And there are governmental agencies, private organizations, and international influences that either directly or indirectly foster, promote, and in some cases, fund abortions.

Some examples of such support include: U.S. Government funding appropriated by Congressional actions, Executive action by the President of the U.S.; Local and state government decisions by Mayors, Commissions, Governors, and Legislatures; Planned Parenthood; Women’s Health Centers; and the Lilith fund. But there are also special interest groups beyond the scenes that interject their influence and contribute millions of Dollars to the cause, due in large part to their quest to control the populations. And there are other groups that seek to challenge the rule of law and to affect cultural change and transformation through measures of social engineering via legal means. An example of such a special interest group is the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

But sadly, there are even other responsible parties to abortion that include the family unit, friends, relatives, co-workers, employers, and the local, state, and national community of U.S. citizens that give their full support to this evil that occurs in their own back yards. Consider how many abortion clinics (murder mills) exist in the community. How often does a person drive through the community an go about their daily business and routine without ever knowing that while they’re living their lives, other people are being exterminated? Sometimes there is a simple way of knowing what’s occurring, as there are many Gospel street preachers that are proclaiming the Gospel, holding up signs, praying, intervening, and calling mothers, fathers, boyfriends, pimps, doctors, nurses, neighbors, and the local community to repent of their sins and place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ the Lord.

There are many ways in which an abortion is conducted. Women have been killing their babies for centuries. Even if they didn’t kill their babies in the womb, they would do so shortly after the birth of the baby. Today, doctors often prescribe the morning after pill, and in some cases give a pill to a mother to end the life of her baby. Sometimes babies are killed by means of suction, chemical, and dismemberment. But not many people know that the birth control pills, along with “the shot,” interfere with the process of procreation and is a form of abortion. The life of a baby is conceived, and yet it can not attach itself to the uterus of its mother, very similar to a woman that refuses to allow her baby to breast feed to obtain nourishment and to sustain life. There’s much more to be said on all of this…

What Scripture Says

Scripture clearly teaches that abortion is wrong. In fact, it’s referred to as murder. Abortion is also a form of worship, worship of the devil that is and the god of self. Specifically, there are two passages of Scripture to begin with that specifically address abortion. They include the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5, and Leviticus 20.

Exodus 20:13
Thou shalt not kill.

Before getting too far in this, it’s important to note that the Law of God was given to and is for His covenant people. And through the influence of the Elect of God, all the nations of the world are blessed. Consider the promises and covenant made with Abraham (Gen. 12 & 15). In the New Covenant of Grace today, the Law of the Lord is written on the hearts and minds of all who believe the Gospel and place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ the Lord. Theonomy is not Scriptural, and it lends itself to much abuse, not to mention that it is a gross overreach that often places people under tyrants like what is seen in the Roman Catholic Church’s Crusades, Crusaders, and Inquisitions. Protestants have their version of Crusaders. They are often referred to as Christian Reconstructionists and the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR). The children of God are not Dominionists. Jesus is Lord, and He is the Sovereign King over all.

Notice in Exodus 20:13 that this is a command, and that command comes from the Lord God (v. 2). This fact alone should give anyone motivation to be attentive and to give one’s eyes and ears to the Word of God. The Lord God says “thou shalt not kill.” That is a command, it is specific, and it is personal. He’s speaking directly to His people. Specifically, this is written to the nation of Israel. And from Genesis, we know that Israel is a reference to the descendants of Jacob, who is the descendant of Isaac and Abraham. For those people grafted into the family of God, this applies as well. Why is this important to know? The people of God are a peculiar people who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, delivered and set free from the bondage of the law of sin and death, and have been called out of Egypt for the purpose of serving and worshipping the Lord God. This command is a clear prohibition against unlawfully killing another human being. The phrase “thou shall not kill (ratsach)” is a verb, and it is a reference to murder. Some key words used to describe and define this include: to put to death; to dash to pieces; to murder, slay, kill, assassinate. And this would include as well murder that is premeditated, accidental, as avenger, and slayer (intentional).

With this definition of what it means to kill, consider the implications of abortion, and the process by which an abortion is an act of one’s will and is mostly intentional, its thought out, planned, arranged, implemented, and committed by various means. A women seeking an abortion thinks about her options, makes a decision, gets an appointment with the abortion doctor, gets into her car, drives to the abortion clinic, gets out of her vehicle, opens the door of the abortion clinic, walks into the clinic, submits to the process, and pays for the procedure. This process is not bloodless either. And Scripture expressly states that God hateth the hands of them that shed innocent blood.

Proverbs 6:16-19
These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,  A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

An abortion is the process of putting an unborn baby to death, and in some cases involves partial birth abortions that includes dashing them to pieces, tearing and ripping them apart limb by limb. The unborn baby never consents to being killed and has no say in the matter. Even in recent month’s over the last year, there has been a push to kill babies right after they have been born into this world. There’s nothing that the unborn baby has done to deserve this sentence to death. They never committed a crime, didn’t do anything wrong, and are in fact innocent. What possibly could be the reason for this atrocity?

There are many reasons women give for having an abortion, the most popular of which is the notion that a woman has the right to choose. Most people wouldn’t have a problem with a woman’s right to choose to consent to intercourse, as that is certainly in the realm of her choosing. And the Bible clearly teaches that intercourse is to be between a man and woman who are husband and wife in the covenant of marriage. But choosing to destroy the life of an unborn baby isn’t a woman’s right. Many would suppose that a woman’s right to an abortion is given by law. But even Roe v. Wade isn’t established law, it’s an unfortunate decision that was made by radical Supreme Court Justices that defy God who subverted the U.S. Constitution in order to push through their agenda. No, man’s rights don’t come from other men, they come from God. And God forbids abortion. Make no mistake about it, a woman has a body, and the unborn baby has a body. They are two separate bodies, two separate and distinct individuals, with their own unique DNA, that are made in the image and likeness of God. A mother in such circumstances is making the choice for not only herself, but for the unborn baby. And often times, a mother has multiple abortions due to indiscretion and a refusal to be responsible.

A woman that has an abortion is murdering her unborn baby, and that selfish act is a violation of each and every one of the Ten Commandments. God has given man a conscience and enough evidence from nature to know that God exists and that murder is wrong. And with that, even the people of the world who are all under the Covenant of Works are guilty and condemned before God, and will on the last day give an account of themselves before God on the day of judgement. Those people whose names are not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be cast in to the lake of fire for all eternity, receiving for themselves what they sought in life, and eternity apart from the God of all creation. And with that it should be noted that Christians considering having an abortion had better examine themselves to see whether or not they are in fact a child of God. True Christians don’t murder their babies. The Bible says in Proverbs 8:36 that all they that hate me love death.

Leviticus 18:21
And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.

Leviticus 20:1-5
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones. And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name. And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not: Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

Going further, there are certain serious consequences for those people that kill their unborn babies and for those people that stand by while this evil is being perpetrated. In Leviticus 20:1-5, we find that Israel was forbidden to give their seed to Molech. This practice included passing their children through the fire. “It is believed that idols of Moloch were giant metal statues of a man with a bull’s head. Each image had a hole in the abdomen and possibly outstretched forearms that made a kind of ramp to the hole. A fire was lit in or around the statue. Babies were placed in the statue’s arms or in the hole. When a couple sacrificed their firstborn, they believed that Moloch would ensure financial prosperity for the family and future children (GotQuestions, Who Was Moloch/Molech).”

To be clear, the seed is a reference to babies that have been born that are subsequently offered as a sacrifice to Molech, who is ultimately Baal/Satan. There isn’t any difference between the two practices, they are one and the same. Consider saline abortions and how an unborn baby is burned alive in its mother’s womb. This act is murder, and it’s an act of worshipping the devil. Sin is ultimately an offense against God. The consequence prescribed by the Lord God for giving one’s seed to Molech include:

1. The offender is to be put to death by stoning.
2. The Lord will set his face against that man.
3. The Lord with cut him off from among his people.

The consequences are very serious, and it gives us a perspective of how God views abortion and the giving of one’s children to Molech/Baal. But there are consequences as well for those people, families, and community that permit such evil to occur and do nothing about it. And the Lord God views this act of killing babies as whoredom and an abomination. Consider that Israel promised the Lord that all that He said they would do (Ex. 19). And in that they entered into a covenant relationship with the Lord God, and the Lord God expected them to keep the covenant. To worship other gods is considered to be spiritual whoredom, and it was and is strictly prohibited.

Israel was instructed in Jeremiah 10:2 not to learn the way of the heathen, and further in Leviticus 20 we find in verses 22 & 23 that this evil is one of the reasons why God drove out the heathen from the land of Canaan and gave the land to Israel. Abortion is abhorrent to the Lord God, and that should be something that causes any participating in an abortion to fear and tremble.

Leviticus 20:22, 23
Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out. And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

In Part 2, we’ll continue this discussion and move into why it is that anyone would choose to have an abortion to begin with and why a person thinks that abortion is a blessing, along with a examination of what kind of lifestyles contribute to abortion in the first place.

Call to Repentance

Abortion isn’t something that will end over night, as it is a complex matter. Many groups and organizations attempt to stop abortion, and for good reason. But ultimately, even if abortion is outlawed completely, this is a matter of the heart of man that needs to be changed and made new in Christ Jesus the Lord. And no man-made law can legislate morality. Change comes from the inside-out. If the whole world would get right with God, there wouldn’t be any abortion.

The only solution to abortion is Jesus! Mankind needs to get right with God, and quick, for judgement day is coming soon. Scripture teaches clearly in Romans 3:23 that we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. And it should be noted, without exception every man, woman, and child born into this world is born with a sin nature that rebels against God. As the late R.C. Sproul wrote on a Twitter post on October 3, 2017 (not long before he subsequently died) “We are not sinners because we sin. We sin because we are sinners.” That is an important distinction for everyone to make that is supported by Romans 5. Un-regenerated man stands as condemned before Almighty God, subject to His wrath, and must be born again according to the Scriptures (John 3).

If you hear the word of truth, don’t put off to tomorrow what you can do right now. The first message of Jesus was repent, and believe the gospel (Mark 1:15). Sinful man is separated from God. The only way for sinful man to be reconciled to God is through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Lord, the Anointed One, the promised Messiah. He’s the only way of salvation, and only way to Heaven, and only way of eternal life, and only way for your sins to be forgiven. He offered Himself on the cross as an Atonement (offering/sacrifice/propitiation) for sin. The sin of His people was placed on him, and He was punished on behalf of all those people who would repent of their sin and place their faith and trust in Him, and Him alone. This was and is important because the wages of sin is death. Death is the punishment for our sin. Salvation is of the Lord from start to finish. And by His shed blood, those people who are born again receive the forgiveness of their sin, a robe of righteousness, and are sealed with the Holy Spirit. Jesus rose again from the dead, and because He lives, His children/brethren live also. Much, much more to be said on this.

The Apostle Paul further states in Romans 10:9, 10 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

This has nothing to do with the Sinner’s Prayer, and everything to do with being Biblically Born Again by the Spirit of the Living God. Turn to Jesus today and live! No matter what you’d done in life, there is nothing that you’ve done this side of Heaven where you can’t find forgiveness in Christ Jesus alone. This is not a license to sin, it’s a reality for those people who are in Christ Jesus the Lord, the Ark of God.

When a person is Biblically Born Again, they are a new creation in Christ Jesus the Lord. Obey the Lord and follow through with believer’s water baptism. Begin reading the King James Bible (KJB) and find a Biblical Church fellowship. Send us a message and we’d be glad to try and help you find a Biblical church in your area and help you as well in the process of being discipled. Be committed to living for the Lord God, and actively get involved in sharing the Gospel with other people. Walk in holiness! Be committed to serving the Lord and embracing and living by His every Word. Diligently pray without ceasing, be led by the Holy Spirit in all that you do, and walk/live by faith, not by sight.

We hope that this message is a blessing to you. Let us know your feedback.

To God be the glory~
