Evangelism Outreach Ministries is dedicated to spreading the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Tampa Bay area and beyond. Our weekly activities encompass a broad spectrum of outreach efforts, including:
- Open Air Proclamation of the Gospel: We fervently plead with people from all walks of life to repent of their sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 17:30, Romans 10:9-10).
- Sign Evangelism: Our distinctive signage conveys Gospel-centered messages and Scripture to reach not only pedestrians but passersby in vehicles.
- Distribution of Bibles, Gospel tracts, and literature that explains the Gospel and humanity's need for salvation.
- Personalized Gospel Conversations: Our team engages in one-on-one discussions where we teach people the Word of the Lord and provide counsel and prayer to those in need.
- Compassionate Ministry: We serve the underprivileged, the ailing, and those ensnared by addiction, demonstrating Christ's love through our actions.
- Abortion Clinic Outreach: We boldly proclaim the Gospel while advocating for the lives of the unborn, urging parents to reconsider the grave decision of ending their unborn child's life.
- Discipleship Meetings: Our ministry fosters spiritual growth among believers by teaching them how to study Scripture and equipping them to publicly live out their faith as Gospel ministers.
- Retirement Home Ministry: We extend church services to individuals in their golden years who are unable to attend a local congregation. This includes delivering the Gospel message, corporate and individual prayer meetings, and encouraging them to walk with the Lord Jesus and trust in Him in all aspects of life.
In addition to our local efforts, Evangelism Outreach Ministries is committed to supporting other Christian ministries, both within and beyond our community, as we strive to spread the message of the gospel far and wide.
On this night of ministry at the St. Petersburg Pier, we had a marvelous time preaching the Gospel, ministering to people in need, and in meeting fellow Christians. Most every outreach brings with it many hecklers. But that goes with the territory. Our focus in ministry is Christ and Him Crucified. And with that, it is our hope and prayer that all men every where would repent of their sins and place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ the Lord.
In this latest video that was first recorded on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, we came across an individual that thought he’d try to shut down the ministry of the Gospel with his bullhorn. He soon found that the community came to the defense of the ministers of the Gospel, and he was told “Bullhorn Boy Go Home.” A very nice, young lady who is a security guard attempted to quell the violence that the fellow displayed to us. At one point he ask us why we were out there, to which we replied that we love him enough to share Christ with him. He told us in return that he hates us. Later he was told that he is hurting our ears, to which he replied, good.
What this clearly showed us is the state of those people who are dead in trespasses and sins who need to be saved, Biblically born again by the Spirit of the Living God. We hold no animosity toward him, but we do hope that he gets right with God. He needs Jesus! This night is an example of why we record our outreaches. The whole interaction was caught on tape. The police viewed this as a First Amendment matter, and it is. But the heckler went well beyond First Amendment activities when he actively sought to assault the preacher of righteousness. May the Lord God open the eyes and ears of those people who don’t know Him.
After the St. Petersburg Police wrapped up their investigation, it began to rain. We wanted to preach the Gospel further into the evening, as it was just after 8:00 p.m., but the Lord God had other plans for us. As we left the area rejoicing in the Lord for His Providential care for us in sending angels of protection and defense, we began to drive away. And that is when we found a man laying in the road. We stopped and picked him up out of the road and placed him on the bench at the side walk in order to keep him from getting hurt. He then told us he needed medical care and asked that we call 911. Soon, paramedics arrived and rendered aid to the man who was clearly out of his mind.
The outreach that night is a night to remember. And we rejoice in the Lord God and what He has done and continues to do. Our hope and prayer is that there would be a marvelous revival in the City of St. Petersburg to such a degree that souls would be saved, people would read the Word of God, and live for King Jesus.
